THE TTMJ CONSORTIUM

The TTMJ Project Consortium comprises:

  • TREVI is the project coordinator and will be in charge of the overall activities management. It will lead the design, manufacturing and verification of the milling machine and the execution of the field test trials, both as concerns the Trimmer and the Milled Joint system.
  • ARUP has already carried out research activities into the proposed tension connection and will assist the coordinator with design skills, witnessing and accrediting the tests and trials. It will prepare the specifications and standards details to be used. It will lead the preparation of the field test method statement. It will lead the accreditation of the System.
  • CCMJ Systems will assist the work of both Trevi and Arup, and coordinate the development process. CCMJ will be directly involved in the design, test and manufacture of the guide tracks for Joint Trimmer, the tension joints, and the water bar components.

The TTMJ team gathers leading experts from the respective fields: the 3 partners of the consortium have complementary competencies which will enable them to achieve the Project’s objectives. The partners have consolidated business relationships and have a long track of co-operation in business and R&D projects in this field.

In 2005, TREVI acquired RODIO, a 100-year-old Italian company, which pioneered geotechnics in the world. RODIO was among the first to use various technologies, which are still used today: artificial soil freezing, cement and chemical grouting, anchors, diaphragm walls.

CCMJ Systems Ltd is a company set up to develop the CCMJ Milled Joint System. The company owns any and all of the intellectual property rights that are forthcoming from European (EP2732101) and USA (US9371623) patents.
